Pou Sheng Int'l (03813) 9-month profit down 35.5% to Rmb337m

Pou Sheng International (03813) said its profit attributable to owners for the  nine months ended 30 September 2017 dropped 35.5% year-on-year to Rmb337 million.    Such decline was mainly due to more promotions and inventory provisions in conjunction  with sales growth, as well as the increases in depreciation, amortization costs and staff cost, compared with about Rmb522.2 million, as restated, in 2016.   Revenue amounted to Rmb13,883 million, an increase of 14.1% from a year earlier. Gross  profit grew 10.2% year-on-year to Rmb4,797 million.
