Affluent Partners to subscribe loan notes of UK realty firm
Affluent Partners (01466) said it agreed to subscribe for 6% convertible guaranteed
redeemable loan notes 2017 of Wonderland (UK) Holdings Limited at GBP3.5 million
(equivalent to about HK$36.05 million).
  The issuer holds the entire equity interest of Sotheby's International Realty Limited
(SIRL). SIRL is principally engaged in real estate agency business and currently operates
under the Sotheby's International Realty brand in England. 
  Affluent Partners considers the subscription represents a good opportunity for the Group
to establish a presence in the England realty market and to be well positioned to take 
advantage of improvement in market conditions and potential future growth in the sector, 
particularly in the city of London which has attracted consistent foreign investment into
the local real estate market due to the weakened GBP.
