China Energy Eng unit's consortium inks Rmb38.3bn contract

China Energy Engineering Corporation (03996) said Gezhouba-Sinohydro-CGCOC consortium, led by its subsidiary China Gezhouba Group Stock Company Limited (CGGC),and the Nigeria Department of Electricity, Project, and Housing Construction,being the project owner, entered into the Mambilla Project EPC General Contracting Agreement with a contract  value of US$5,792.5 million (equivalent to about  Rmb38,346.33 million).   The total installed capacity of the project is 3,050MW, with an annual power generation of 4.7 billion KWh after completion. The contractual project duration shall be calculated from the commencement date, to the 72nd month when the first generation unit come into  operation, and the total project duration is 87 months.
