Next Digital (00282) said its loss attributable to owners for the six months ended30 September 2017 widened to HK$171 million from HK$147 million for the same period last year This was mainly attributable to the poor market sentiment and cautious advertisement spending driven by the sluggish economic growth in Hong Kong and Taiwan during the period under review, along with keen global competition of online programmatic advertising buying. Basic and diluted loss per share was HK7 cents. Revenue amounted to HK$775 million, a decrease of 17.6% from a year earlier. No interim dividend was proposed for the reporting period. |
