SUNNY OPTICAL, COWELL Trade Mixed after Apple Launches 3 New iPhone Models
Apple launched three new iPhone models but analysis said there was not much surprise for the new product functions. The share price of Apple turned south 0.4% after early gain of 1.4% to end at US$160.86 last night. 

Hong Kong stocks with related concept diverged. Being downgraded to Sell by Citigroup, COWELL (01415.HK)  -0.380 (-8.297%)   failed to sustain the rebound registered yesterday and missed 10MA. Bottoming at $4.17, it last stood at $4.18, slumping 8.7%. 

FIT HON TENG (06088.HK)  -0.450 (-6.475%)   dived 5.8% to $6.55, missing 10MA ($6.83). Q TECH (01478.HK)  -0.760 (-4.935%)    Short selling $2.73M; Ratio 0.588%   plunged 5.2% to $14.6. TONGDA GROUP (00698.HK)  -0.030 (-1.266%)    Short selling $9.47M; Ratio 7.383%   faded 1.3% to $2.34. 

In contrast, SUNNY OPTICAL (02382.HK)  +5.200 (+4.377%)    Short selling $129.92M; Ratio 9.266%   hit record high with strong August shipment. It last printed at $124, up 4.4%. Blue chip AAC TECH (02018.HK)  +1.800 (+1.290%)    Short selling $68.19M; Ratio 8.014%   ticked up 1.4% to $141.5. 

Apple held a product release last night to launch three new smart phones respectively, namely iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and the 10th anniversary edition iPhone X. The pre-order will begin from end-October.
