International Energy Agency Lifts Global Oil Demand Growth Forecast for This Year
The International Energy Agency (IEA) monthly report showed that global oil demand is expected to record the biggest growth in nearly two years with annual growth of 2.3 million barrels in the second quarter per day, representing a rise of 2.4%. IEA revised upward the growth forecast of global oil demand for this year to 100,000 barrels to 1.6 million barrels per day, marking a rise of 1.7%.
