SHANGHAI PECHEM (00338.HK)  -0.040 (-1.681%)    Short selling $49.08M; Ratio 36.299%   , SINOPEC CORP (00386.HK)  -0.080 (-1.178%)    Short selling $83.95M; Ratio 10.578%   and KUNLUN ENERGY (00135.HK)  -0.080 (-0.778%)    Short selling $25.89M; Ratio 22.285%   receded 0.8%-1.7%.

CHINA OILFIELD (02883.HK)  -1.540 (-8.480%)    Short selling $190.17M; Ratio 28.052%   slumped 8.5% and became the worst HSCEI constituent. ANTON OILFIELD (03337.HK)  -0.080 (-4.734%)    Short selling $2.67M; Ratio 4.473%   tumbled 4.7%, moving down for four days. ENN ENERGY (02688.HK)  -2.900 (-5.888%)    Short selling $9.60M; Ratio 0.723%   shed 5.9%, the lowest in nearly a year.

Chinese banks generally headed south. ICBC (01398.HK)  -0.040 (-0.783%)    Short selling $44.12M; Ratio 3.256%   posted in-line 3Q results and its share price dipped 0.8%. BANKCOMM (03328.HK)  -0.110 (-1.897%)    Short selling $18.28M; Ratio 11.421% declined 1.9%. CITIC BANK (00998.HK)  -0.020 (-0.400%)    Short selling $16.00M; Ratio 10.217%   also slipped 0.4%. However, CM BANK (03968.HK)  +0.040 (+0.284%)    Short selling $9.36M; Ratio 3.419%   edged up 0.3% as its third-quarter profit increased 16%.

HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK)  -0.600 (-0.759%)    Short selling $158.49M; Ratio 17.064%   came down 0.8%. STANCHART (02888.HK)  -2.400 (-1.896%)    Short selling $141.66M; Ratio 23.606%   dropped 1.9% further to a 5.5-year low.
