CCB (00939.HK)  +0.140 (+2.523%)    Short selling $74.39M; Ratio 4.776%   and CITIC BANK (00998.HK)  +0.100 (+2.053%)    Short selling $39.00M; Ratio 17.082%   also bounced 2.5% and 2.8%. PING AN (02318.HK)  +1.900 (+3.218%)    Short selling $107.10M; Ratio 10.401%   and CHINA LIFE (02628.HK)  +0.550 (+2.523%)    Short selling $87.79M; Ratio 12.131%   , poised to release their results today, jumped 3.2% and 2.5% respectively.

BELLE INT'L (01880.HK)  +0.840 (+9.906%)    Short selling $213.09M; Ratio 26.217%   soared 9.9%, breaching above the 50MA. It became the best performing blue chip as its interim results beat estimates and declared a higher dividend payment.

TENCENT (00700.HK)  +2.000 (+1.693%)    Short selling $128.70M; Ratio 8.799%   rose 1.7%. CHINA TELECOM (00728.HK)  +0.260 (+5.591%)    Short selling $38.28M; Ratio 13.222%   surged 5.6% as its quarterly results beat estimates. CHINA MOBILE (00941.HK)  +2.500 (+2.811%)    Short selling $313.43M; Ratio 20.937%   rallied 2.8%, driving up the HSI by 47 pts.

HKEX (00388.HK)  +3.000 (+1.805%)    Short selling $53.99M; Ratio 3.336%   bounced 1.8%. HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK)  +0.550 (+0.702%)    Short selling $149.85M; Ratio 11.733%   edged up 0.7%. However, STANCHART (02888.HK)  -7.700 (-5.540%)    Short selling $114.50M; Ratio 27.467%   tumbled 5.5% as its profit before tax for last quarter declined over 16%.
