Brokers weakened as CITIC SEC (06030.HK)  -0.700 (-3.465%)    Short selling $49.77M; Ratio 15.296%   lost 3.5%; HAITONG SEC (06837.HK)  -0.880 (-6.111%)    Short selling $42.08M; Ratio 7.875%   and CGS (06881.HK)  -0.350 (-5.117%)    Short selling $51.71M; Ratio 13.835%   faded 6.1% and 5.1%; GUOTAI JUNAN I (01788.HK)  -0.400 (-6.957%)    Short selling $2.69M; Ratio 3.345%   slumped approx 7%.

Heavyweight CHINA MOBILE (00941.HK)  -2.200 (-2.276%)    Short selling $210.82M; Ratio 12.847%   and TENCENT (00700.HK)  -2.800 (-2.123%)    Short selling $340.20M; Ratio 7.658%   decreased 2.3% and 2.1%; HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK)  -0.300 (-0.385%)    Short selling $122.15M; Ratio 13.723%   edged down 0.4%.

Mainland banks turned lower. CITIC BANK (00998.HK)  -0.220 (-4.052%)    Short selling $71.95M; Ratio 17.417%   tumbled 4%; BANKCOMM (03328.HK)  -0.120 (-2.013%)    Short selling $12.57M; Ratio 9.572%   slid 2%; ICBC (01398.HK)  -0.060 (-1.174%)    Short selling $169.32M; Ratio 12.132%   and CCB (00939.HK)  -0.100 (-1.730%)    Short selling $91.20M; Ratio 7.419%   fell 1.2% and 1.7%.

CHINA RESOURCES (00291.HK)  -0.320 (-1.863%)    Short selling $33.47M; Ratio 38.996%   and TINGYI (00322.HK)  -0.440 (-2.266%)    Short selling $120.74M; Ratio 44.629%   , on disappointing quarterly results, declined 1.9% and 2.3%, respectively.
