The heavyweight HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK)  -0.200 (-0.260%)    Short selling $101.88M; Ratio 12.295%   dipped 0.3%. CHINA MOBILE (00941.HK)  -0.100 (-0.107%)    Short selling $261.49M; Ratio 19.003%   slipped 0.1% after registering a record net addition of 4G subscribers in October.

As the weak flows of both Southbound and Northbound Trading have not improved, HKEX (00388.HK)  -2.200 (-1.310%)    Short selling $643.60M; Ratio 19.637%   tumbled for a fifth day and closed down 1.3% to $165.8. However, Chinese brokerage shares saw an uptick with CITIC SEC (06030.HK)  +0.540 (+2.857%)    Short selling $50.58M; Ratio 29.721%   and HAITONG SEC (06837.HK)  +0.320 (+2.413%)    Short selling $26.55M; Ratio 15.114%   up 2.9% and 2.4% respectively.

CNOOC (00883.HK)  +0.220 (+1.954%)    Short selling $107.54M; Ratio 13.952%   reported new discovery of oil deposits in eastern part of South China Sea and its share price was driven up by nearly 2%. ANTON OILFIELD (03337.HK)  +0.240 (+17.021%)    Short selling $7.16M; Ratio 3.493%   shot up 17%. CHINA OILFIELD (02883.HK)  +0.280 (+1.950%)    Short selling $21.44M; Ratio 6.868%   rallied 2%. PETROCHINA (00857.HK)  +0.070 (+0.826%)    Short selling $57.91M; Ratio 6.975%   and SINOPEC CORP (00386.HK)  +0.060 (+0.972%)    Short selling $79.97M; Ratio 16.483%   escalated 0.8% and 1%, respectively.
