Dow Jones Industrial Average ended up 410 pts or 1.7% last night (12 February). Hang Seng Index, after opening up 390 pts this morning , tracked expanded gain to 709 pts at most to peak at 30,169. At midday, the benchmark index leaped 642 pts or 2.2% to 30,102. Hang Seng China Enterprises Index surged 300 pts or 2.5% to 12,200. Half-day market turnover reached $74.31 billion.
