Amid worries over early rate hike by the US Federal Reserve, Hang Seng Index ended down for the eighth day in a row. The HSI closed at 24,136, down 220 pts or 0.9%; Hang Seng China Enterprises Index closed at 10,718, down 116 pts or 1.1%. Market turnover was $57.732 billion.
