Shanghai Pechem (00338.HK) Trading Sell Last price: HK$2.43 Resistance: HK$2.60 Support: HK$2.27/2.13 Shanghai Pechem closed lower at HK$2.43 in a long dark candle yesterday, short of the 0.38x retracement level at HK$2.41. Given that the Slow Stochastics has breached the previous low and the MACD is under the centreline, the stock is likely to test the 0.5x retracement level at HK$2.27. If the stock breaches this support, it will then test the 0.62x retracement level of HK$2.13. Daiwa upgrades VTech Holdings (00303) to Buy Daiwa Securities has upgraded VTech Holdings (00303) from Outperform to Buy and kept its HK$126 price target on the stock. VTech's share price has declined by about 10% over the past three months, greatly underperforming the broader Hang Seng Index, Daiwa says. VTech has reiterated its positive guidance for fiscal 2018 and Daiwa believes concerns over Toys R Us' bankruptcy on VTech's Electronic Learning Platform (ELP) business are overdone. VTech's strong track record, inexpensive valuation and its 7% dividend yield for fiscal 2019 makes VTech an attractive laggard play, the brokerage says.
