As Alibaba is going to make its debut on the NYSE, TENCENT (00700.HK)  +2.300 (+1.871%)    Short selling $425.34M; Ratio 8.507%   gained 1.9%; CHINA DONGXIANG (03818.HK)  +0.030 (+1.765%)    Short selling $6.67M; Ratio 6.489%   , holding interest in Alibaba, closed higher by 1.8%.

Other software and mobile game stocks also advanced, with SINOSOFT TECH (01297.HK)  +0.150 (+5.338%)   and KINGDEE INT'L (00268.HK)  +0.120 (+4.898%)    Short selling $505.94K; Ratio 1.134%   up 5.3% and 4.9% respectively. NETDRAGON (00777.HK)  +0.600 (+4.431%)    Short selling $859.18K; Ratio 6.779%   , FORGAME (00484.HK)  +1.220 (+7.673%)   and BOYAA (00434.HK)  +0.540 (+6.545%)   also soared 4.4%, 7.7% and 6.5%.

Gaming stocks rebounded. SANDS CHINA LTD (01928.HK)  +1.550 (+3.596%)    Short selling $156.67M; Ratio 10.250%   and GALAXY ENT (00027.HK)  +1.500 (+3.009%)    Short selling $84.94M; Ratio 9.362%   ticked up 3.6% and 3%, respectively, both becoming top gainers among blue chips. HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK)  +1.400 (+1.691%)    Short selling $322.49M; Ratio 9.808%   gained 1.7%. STANCHART (02888.HK)  +1.400 (+0.903%)    Short selling $23.05M; Ratio 31.119%   and AIA (01299.HK)  +1.000 (+2.395%)    Short selling $200.03M; Ratio 14.620%   also elevated 0.9% and 2.4%.

As iPhone 6 series were approved by the MIIT for launch in Mainland, CHINA MOBILE (00941.HK)  +1.700 (+1.795%)    Short selling $734.37M; Ratio 33.093%   soared $1.8 and CHINA TELECOM (00728.HK)  +0.020 (+0.418%)    Short selling $65.57M; Ratio 8.097%   moved up 0.4%, while CHINA UNICOM (00762.HK)  -0.240 (-1.863%)    Short selling $80.05M; Ratio 8.084%   tumbled 1.9%.
