                                                                           HK Oct Volume of Total Exports of Goods Drops 1.5% The Census and Statistics Department (C&SD) released today that in October 2015, the volume of Hong Kong's re-exports of goods decreased by 1.4% over October 2014, while that of domestic exports decreased by 14.6%. Taken together, the volume of total exports of goods decreased by 1.5%. Concurrently, the volume of imports of goods decreased by 6.1%. Comparing October 2015 with October 2014, the prices of re-exports of goods decreased by 1.7%, while those of domestic exports decreased by 3.2%. The benchmark index continued the uptrend after the midday and ended at 21,701, up 426 pts or 2%. Hang Seng China Enterprises Index advanced 194 pts or 2.08% to 9,538. The market turnover amounted to $67.87 billion. Financial stocks fared well.                                                                         HSI Falls 35 pts; China Power Stocks Rally Hang Seng Index declined for eight consecutive trading days and opened lower 94 pts at 21,215 this morning. The benchmark index closed down 35 pts or 0.17% to 21,274 in day trading session. Hang Seng China Enterprises Index gained 28 pts or 0.3% to 9,344. The market turnover amounted to $67.107 billion.
