Trading in the US bourse was suspended last night (16 January) on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Asia Pacific stocks traded mixed. Hang Seng Index, after opening higher 101 pts, once sagged 7 pts to bottom at 22,710 but reverted up later on to peak at 22,867. It finished the day higher 122 pts or 0.5% to 22,840. Hang Seng China Enterprises Index grew 36 pts or 0.4% to 9,702. Market turnover shrank to $50.679 billion.
