At midday trading break, Hang Seng Index and China Enterprises Index closed at 22,700 and 9,645, down 236 pts and down 141 pts, respectively, on turnover of $31.056 billion. 

Heavyweight CHINA MOBILE (00941.HK)  -1.100 (-1.289%)    Short selling $46.73M; Ratio 6.438%   and HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK)  -0.800 (-1.250%)    Short selling $93.35M; Ratio 11.820%   lost 1.2% and 1%, respectively. TENCENT (00700.HK)  -3.000 (-1.502%)    Short selling $212.49M; Ratio 9.286%   gave up 1.2%. Property developers HANG LUNG PPT (00101.HK)  -0.380 (-2.097%)    Short selling $4.09M; Ratio 8.723%   , HENDERSON LAND (00012.HK)  -0.700 (-1.606%)    Short selling $7.52M; Ratio 12.512%   and WHARF HOLDINGS (00004.HK)  -0.700 (-1.207%)    Short selling $39.69M; Ratio 29.766%   faded 1.6%-1.9%. CATHAY PAC AIR (00293.HK)  +0.320 (+3.036%)    Short selling $98.05M; Ratio 21.253%   , reportedly to announce huge restructuring plan this week, grew 2.7%, bucking the market trend. 

CK PROPERTY (01113.HK)  -0.700 (-1.392%)    Short selling $14.17M; Ratio 2.424%   and CKH HOLDINGS (00001.HK)  -1.450 (-1.575%)    Short selling $20.87M; Ratio 5.837%   slid 2.3% and 2.1%, respectively. On the contrary, CKI HOLDINGS (01038.HK)  +0.600 (+0.984%)    Short selling $13.40M; Ratio 7.733%   and POWER ASSETS (00006.HK)  +1.950 (+2.764%)    Short selling $44.34M; Ratio 10.671%   jumped 1.3% and 3.2%, respectively, as the latter will reveal whether to deliver a special dividend of $5 per share next Thursday. 

Meanwhile, PCCW (00008.HK)  +0.190 (+4.328%)    Short selling $9.27M; Ratio 7.053%   , to announce last year's results today, soared 3.9%. HKT-SS (06823.HK)  +0.900 (+9.474%)    Short selling $65.89M; Ratio 17.146%   rocketed 9.5% to $10.4, on back of better-than-expected annual results.
