HSI Falls 148 pts; CKH Series of Companies Face Selling
The Britain's vote to leave the European Union sent shock waves to global bourses. Sterling was under continuous pressure, while Hong Kong bourses saw a narrowed loss this morning. Hang Seng Index recorded narrowed decline after opening down 276 pts and once reclaimed the level of 20,000 pts in the early trade to once peak at 20,117 pts. The benchmark index finished the morning trade at 20,110, down 148 pts or 0.7%. Hang Seng China Enterprises Index faded 47 pts or 0.6% to 8,482. Half-day market turnover amounted to $32.271 billion.

CKH HOLDINGS (00001.HK) -3.500 (-4.023%) Short selling $192.51M; Ratio 8.260% fell sharply 4.7% after Morgan Stanley and Citigroup downgraded its rating. POWER ASSETS (00006.HK) -1.850 (-2.643%) Short selling $23.26M; Ratio 4.539% dived 2.6% and CK PROPERTY (01113.HK) -0.750 (-1.604%) Short selling $3.96M; Ratio 1.028% slid 1.6%.
