HSI Falls 283 pts
Hang Seng Index opened lower 233 pts or 1.2% this morning amid weak external markets and slumped up to 325 pts at the bottom of 19,195 in morning session. After midday, the benchmark index saw loss narrow to 19,439, yet the decline widen in the later session and finished the day trading down by 283 pts or 1.5% at 19,237. Hang Seng China Enterprises Index fell 101 pts or 1.2% to 8,134. The market turnover amounted to $75.026 billion.

Macau gaming stocks jumped amid weak market, with GALAXY ENT (00027.HK) +0.750 (+3.546%) Short selling $87.97M; Ratio 27.414% and SANDS CHINA LTD (01928.HK) +0.850 (+3.926%) Short selling $59.98M; Ratio 9.327% escalated 3.5% and 3.9%, both of which were best performing blue chippers. WYNN MACAU (01128.HK) +0.360 (+4.972%) Short selling $23.50M; Ratio 9.588% expected last quarter to record net revenue of US$550 to US$560 million, sending its share price up by 5% today. Individual stocks rocketed. JUJIANG CONS (01459.HK) +1.060 (+37.589%) rallied 37.6% to close at $3.88. NNK (03773.HK) +0.180 (+12.414%) soared 12.4%.
