TENCENT (00700.HK)  -0.100 (-0.075%)     Short selling $386.41M; Ratio 12.840%     announced that for the half year period as of the end of June, the net profit rose 59% yearly to RMB12.293 billion, representing EPS of RMB1.332. The non-GAAP net profit rose 36% to RMB11.07 billion, near the upper limit of market expectations. During the period, the revenue rose 37% to RMB38.146 billion; gross profit rose 48% to RMB22.772 billion. 

In the second quarter alone, the net profit fell 10% quarterly to RMB5.836 billion. The non-GAAP net profit fell 13% quarterly to RMB5.87 billion. During the period, the revenue rose 7% quarterly to RMB19.746 billion; gross profit rose 15% quarterly to RMB12.172 billion. CLSA lowers Beijing Ent Water (00371) to HK$6   CLSA cut its target price for Beijing Enterprises Water (BEW)(00371) by 8% to HK$6, and reiterated its "buy" rating.   The research house said BEW's share price has dropped 14% in the last two trading days.
