                             HSI ,IN 7 YEARS HIGH

 After the five-day long holiday, Hang Seng Index once surged 620 pts to 25,896 this morning, hitting nearly 7-year high, and it closed the morning session at 25,877, up 602 pts or 2.38%. Hang Seng China Enterprises Index bounced 505 pts or 4% to 13,168. Market turnover was as high as $132.276 billion. 

Hong Kong stock market was bullish this morning. Amid robust trades in Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect, HKEX (00388.HK)  +24.000 (+12.245%)    Short selling $80.67M; Ratio 1.747%   rallied 8.7% to $213 at midday, becoming the strongest blue chip for the morning session. 

Chinese financials led market gainers, with CHINA LIFE (02628.HK)  +2.400 (+6.867%)    Short selling $209.44M; Ratio 10.082%   rising 4.7% to $36.6. The four big banks advanced 2.1% to 3.5%. In addition, HAITONG SEC (06837.HK)  +3.790 (+18.988%)    Short selling $84.94M; Ratio 6.463%   shot up 14% to $22.8. CITIC SEC (06030.HK)  +4.250 (+14.214%)    Short selling $30.38M; Ratio 3.184%   and CHINA CINDA (01359.HK)  +0.500 (+12.285%)    Short selling $34.22M; Ratio 3.752%   also elevated 7.5% and 8.6%. 

TENCENT (00700.HK)  +4.700 (+3.138%)    Short selling $129.61M; Ratio 3.838%   rose 1.4% to $151.9. Other dot.com shares also recorded strong gains this morning. NETDRAGON (00777.HK)  +6.750 (+35.156%)    Short selling $12.12M; Ratio 5.741%   , KINGSOFT (03888.HK)  +5.750 (+24.211%)    Short selling $167.71M; Ratio 10.079%   , KINGDEE INT'L (00268.HK)  +0.630 (+17.027%)    Short selling $60.67M; Ratio 14.641%   and BOYAA (00434.HK)  +1.690 (+22.654%)    Short selling $735.39K; Ratio 0.485%   leaped 34%, 19%, 14% and 12% respectively. 

AIA (01299.HK)  +2.400 (+4.863%)    Short selling $223.53M; Ratio 14.760%   hit a new high and surged 2.7% to $50.7. HSBC HOLDINGS (00005) jumped 1.3% to $67.85. CHINA MOBILE (00941.HK)  +6.800 (+6.615%)    Short selling $47.37M; Ratio 3.757%   mounted 2% to $104.9. Gaming blue-chips also headed north. SANDS CHINA LTD (01928.HK)  +2.100 (+6.462%)    Short selling $109.29M; Ratio 19.484%   and GALAXY ENT (00027.HK)  +2.700 (+7.510%)    Short selling $57.95M; Ratio 8.626%   lifted 7.1% and 6.3% to $34.8 and $38.2 respective

CLSA lowers Beijing Ent Water (00371) to HK$6   CLSA cut its target price for Beijing Enterprises Water (BEW)(00371) by 8% to HK$6, and reiterated its "buy" rating.   The research house said BEW's share price has dropped 14% in the last two trading days.
