It closed the morning session at 27,547, down 13 pts or 0.05%. Hang Seng China Enterprises Index gained 103 pts or 0.73% to 14,368. Market turnover amounted to $116.566 billion.

Of all the blue chips, CHINA MOBILE (00941.HK)  -3.300 (-3.019%)    Short selling $215.63M; Ratio 9.927%   dragged down 3.1% to $105.9. CHINA UNICOM (00762.HK)  +0.100 (+0.737%)    Short selling $5.15M; Ratio 1.182%   and CHINA TELECOM (00728.HK)  +0.080 (+1.423%)    Short selling $4.83M; Ratio 2.055%   inched up 0.4% and 0.7%, while HSBC HOLDINGS (00005.HK)  +0.200 (+0.283%)    Short selling $164.75M; Ratio 15.938%   stabilized at $70.9, up 0.4%.

Upon resumption of trading, ALI HEALTH (00241.HK)  +5.000 (+73.746%)   once peaked at $13.5 after the company's online pharmacy business received a capital injection of more than $19.4 billion from Alibaba. It last printed at $11.2 at midday, surging 65%.
